Etching - 5th Year
Students use the folklore story of The Crying Tomb (based in Kilmallock) as inspiration for an etching that will embody (part of) its story, while including primary source imagery of human form to aid with telling the narrative, and different use of mark-making to inform the mood of the print


Character Design - 2nd Year
Character and poster design:
​"The future of music! Following major technological advancements, the days of real humans performing are over! Musicians have been replaced by fictional avatars. Your task is to design the next music sensations and create a poster promoting the new band’s upcoming Irish tour!"
Lino Print - 1st Year
An Ode to Birds Lost:
This project involves the careful selection of bird species that are of serious conservation concern according to the Red List, provided by Bird Watch Ireland. Species will be depicted through detailed Lino prints, capturing their unique characteristics, as inspired by the work of Peter Nash
